Troubles between British culture organization and Russian authorities came amid discussions about Litvinenko’s affair evidence. Britain still refuses to give more informations about these affair to the Russian authorities, and then about Andrei Lugovoi’s evidence. “He would not get a non-political trial in Russia” said a British official. The British government is afraid that his homologous just dismisses some new evidence, or use it on a trial concerning Andrei Lugovoi, the former KGB officer, the chief suspect in the case, to acquit him.
Reminder :
In november 2006, Alexander Litvinenko, a former KGB officer, opponent to Vladimir Putin’s government, died from polonium poisoning in a London hospital. He recently published a book having accused “the FSB and their direct supervisors, of alleged practice of extrajudicial liquidations and physical pressure upon businessmen and political figures.” Scotland Yard was investigated and discovered it was a planned murder.
“This is a real cold war stuff” a Russian expert said. Accross this event, it makes us wonder how many dark practices are hidden behind so futile troubles.
